Relationships

High school relationships are one of the hardest things to make last. I know this first hand. My girlfriend Morgen and I just got back together Saturday. We broke up two weeks ago today. It was the night before our eight month anniversary when we talked and decided to split up. Honestly I loved this girl to death and this shattered my heart. We finally talked two days after we broke up. We tried to talk just as friends and that wasn't working, so we tried to figure out how to make us work. Every night we would talk and try to find out what the other wanted. We were so focused on what the other wanted and worried of their response, we didn't stop and think of what we wanted for ourselves. Once we realized this we started talking as a couple again to figure out how to fix our broken hearts. Whenever something would get tough we would lose hope and start thinking "what if?" We kept thinking so negatively and lost it. We knew we were a lot stronger than this and that we both wanted the same thing in the end, to be together. We made a promise to never give up on us and whatever happens we will talk it out. Now we are a much happier and stronger couple. As an individual I am a much better person with her in my life. Just remember if things get tough talk it out and if you really truly love them don't let them go.
